100 days of digibet eSports

Back in the old days we didn’t have fancy 100 Mbit/s internet or million dollar eSports competitions. When we wanted to entertain ourselves we had to build our toys ourselves. From sticks and stones, glued together with mud and tears. The closest thing to eSports we had was playing soccer next to a power plant. Luckily those times of physical exercise in bright daylight are over.

Nowadays you can entertain yourself at home by watching some of the biggest and most expensive eSports events the human race has dared to dream up. Be it the 1.5 Million Dollar Dota 2 International or the even bigger 5 Million Dollar LoL Season 2. Now those developments don’t come for free. Somewhere someone has to invest into them and one of those companies is DigiBet.

It’s been a hundred days since the company, which operates from Germany, has tipped its toes into the eSports waters and the ramifications are noticeable. Mousesports and SK Gaming, two of the oldest multi-gaming clans out there, have joined forces with Digibet to allow their players to live the dream. SK.Ocelote even got a personal sponsorship out of it which resulted in a nifty commercial.

With the upcoming Dreamhack Winter it will be possible to place bets in four different games: Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Starcraft 2 und of course League of Legends. So show them some love. Everyone who’s interested can head to their Facebook Page for a chance to win a voucher over 50″ or just to leave feedback.
