Revival joins Evil Geniuses
After much speculation as to where Dong Hyun ‘Revival’ Kim would go after leaving TSL in late November, it has today been announced that Evil Geniuses will be his new home where he’ll play alongside former teammates PuMa and JYP.
He decided to leave Team SCV Life on November 28th, wanting a ‘fresh new start’, and many assumed this meant he was looking towards a non-Korean team for his future. On his new team, he commented:
“I’m very happy to join Team EG. Our team members and coaching staff are excellent, and I will remain unwavering so that I can show everyone my success.”
Evil Geniuses’ General Manager, Cody Conners, also had a few words on the matter:
“My coaching staff and my players were insistent that we add Revival to our lineup when the news broke that he would be a free agent. With so many voices chiming in with positive things to say, adding this young man to our roster was an easy choice to make.”
Revival will make his debut for EG in IPTL and will accompany their other recent signing, Jaedong, in the EG-TL line-up at Proleague in January.
